Alright, so the other day I was trying to remember who was on that 2016 Celtics team. I mean, I knew the big names, but I wanted the full roster. So, I started digging!
My Deep Dive into the 2016 Celtics
First, I fired up my trusty search engine. Just typed in “2016 Boston Celtics roster”.
I scrolled through a bunch of different websites. Some had bits and pieces, some were just confusing.
I finally found one that seemed pretty comprehensive.
I started jotting down the names. It was cool to see some of the guys I’d totally forgotten about!
Next, I went through each player and tried to remember where they were in their careers at that point. Were they rookies? Vets? Somewhere in between?
I even checked out some old game highlights on YouTube to see them in action. It brought back some good memories!
Here’s What I Compiled:
I organized all the names into a simple list. It’s nothing fancy, but it did the trick:
- Isaiah Thomas– Of Course!
- Avery Bradley– Lock down defender!
- Jae Crowder – tough as nail.
- Amir Johnson– very solid player.
- Jared Sullinger– a good presence.
- Kelly Olynyk -good shooter.
- Marcus Smart– The begin of smart.
- Evan Turner– a good point guard.
- Tyler Zeller.
- Jonas Jerebko.
- Terry Rozier– Young Scary Terry!
- R.J. Hunter.
- James Young.
- Jordan Mickey.
- John Holland.
It wasn’t super complicated, but it was fun to go back and revisit that team. I definitely spent a good chunk of time on this, but hey, it was a nice trip down memory lane!
