Okay, so I gotta tell you guys about my experience with the 2024 Oaks winner. I’m not a huge horse racing fanatic, but I do enjoy a good race and like to check in on the big ones.
I started by doing some quick digging. You know, just checking out the news and seeing who everyone was talking about. I saw that a horse named “Treasurethe Moment” won the VRC Crown Oaks at Flemington. Apparently, she’s been doing really well this spring, a real winner!
My Process
- Checked the News: I looked around to see who won the race. That’s where I found out about Treasurethe Moment.
- Noted the Trainer: I also made a note that the trainer’s name is Matt Laurie. It’s always good to know who’s behind these amazing animals.
- Watched Some highlights : Not live, of course, found some recordings online to see the race.
I learned that Treasurethe Moment is trained by a guy called Matt Laurie. I figure he must be pretty good at his job! I was curious to see the filly and the whole race.
I could see that Treasurethe Moment really crushed it. A “dominant performance,” the news said. I guess that means she won by a lot, and it wasn’t even close!
I wish I was one of those “punters” that bet on her! Must have felt good to see that win. I’m not a big gambler, though. Just fun to watch.
Anyway, that’s my little rundown of the 2024 Oaks. A big win for Treasurethe Moment and Matt Laurie. It’s always cool to see these horses do their thing!
