Okay, so today I decided to really get into the Rugby Italy vs. Ireland match. I’ve been meaning to watch more rugby, and this seemed like a good one to dive into.

First things first, I needed to find a way to watch it. I don’t have cable, so that was out. I poked around online for a bit, looking for a decent stream. That took a little while, to be honest. Found a couple of sketchy ones, finally landed on one that seemed okay.
Getting Ready
- Grabbed some snacks. Can’t watch sports without snacks, right?
- Made sure I had a comfy spot on the couch. Gotta be comfortable for a couple of hours.
- Told everyone to not bothering me.
I’m using the simple sentences, I am not a native speaker, so it is hard for me to write a complex paragraph.
Once the match started, I really tried to pay attention. I don’t know all the rules super well, but I’m picking things up. It’s pretty intense! Lots of running, tackling… the usual. I started to write down some notes so so i am able to follow the whole game flow.
I also wanted to find other ways to enjoy the game, so I kept my phone nearby to look up some of the players and get some background info. Made it a bit more interesting, knowing who’s who and what their stories are. I searched a lot on my phone and I noticed some people were also talking about it, I checked a lot and finally got a good point of view of other rugby fans.
By the end of the match, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on what was going on. The stream even had some commentary, not the greatest quality, but it helped a little. I jotted down some key moments – big plays, scores, that sort of thing.

Overall, it was a fun experience! I definitely need to watch more rugby to really learn the ins and outs, but this was a solid start. Now, I need to decide which teams and matches to watch them.
