Man, I gotta tell you about this rabbit hole I went down today. I was feeling all nostalgic and decided to look up the 2009 Golden State Warriors. I don’t know why, it just popped into my head. So, I started with a simple search.

First, I fired up the search engine, and typed in “golden state warriors 2009”. I figured that would give me a good starting point. And, I was not wrong!
Digging Through the Roster
My next task was to find the roster. I wanted to see all the players who were on the team that year.
- I scrolled through various sports websites.
- I checked out some old news articles.
- And I finally landed on a page.
It was pretty cool seeing some of those names again. Some I remembered, some I’d totally forgotten about!
Reliving the Season (Sort Of)
After I had the roster down, I wanted to see how the team actually did that year. This part was a bit tougher. I mean, it’s 2009 we’re talking about, it is not exactly recent history, you know?
- I jumped around between different websites.
- I pieced together information from various sources.
- I read game summaries,I looked at old stats,and I got a decent picture.
It wasn’t the best season, let’s be real. But it was fun to revisit it, even if it was just through old articles and stat sheets. It’s like taking a little trip back in time, you know?

This whole thing started with a random thought, and I ended up spending a good chunk of my time just browsing and reading. Kinda funny how the internet can do that to you. You start with one thing, and next thing you know, you’re knee-deep in old sports data. Good times!
