Okay, so “UFC Twerk” was trending, and, well, I got curious. I’m not gonna lie, it sounded kinda ridiculous, but hey, I’m always up for trying something new, especially if it involves moving my body.

First, I looked up some videos. I figured I needed to see what this whole “UFC Twerk” thing even was. Turns out, it’s not really a thing. It’s more like people, uh, interpreting UFC fighter celebrations… with twerking. Lots of booty shaking, obviously.
My Attempt
I cleared some space in my living room. I figured I didn’t want to knock over a lamp while attempting to, you know, vigorously shake my posterior. I even put on some workout clothes, just in case things got sweaty. I am not ashamed.
- I started with some basic twerking moves. You know, the classic up-and-down. My butt felt… confused.
- Then I tried to incorporate some, uh, “fighter” moves. Like, I threw in a few jabs and some weird footwork. It felt less like UFC and more like… I don’t even know.
- I added some “celebration” flair. I imagined I’d just won a major fight, so I did some flexing (while twerking, of course). This was the peak of awkwardness.
Honestly, the whole thing was pretty hilarious. I spent a good 20 minutes just bouncing around, trying to make my butt do… things. I definitely worked up a sweat, though. So, I guess it’s kind of a workout?
I filmed some of it, but I’m pretty sure that video will never see the light of day. My coordination is… questionable. Let’s just say I won’t be challenging any UFC fighters to a twerk-off anytime soon.
My final verdict? “UFC Twerk” is more of a silly meme than an actual workout routine. But, it was a fun way to get moving and have a good laugh at myself. I fully have got my cardio, would recommend, though you may get laughed at.
