Alright, so today I decided to check out Cashman Field in Las Vegas. I’d heard a bit about it, mostly that it used to be a bigger deal, but I was in the area and figured, why not?

First thing I did was look it up quickly on my phone. Got the address, saw it was pretty central, not far from downtown. Easy enough.
Getting There
Getting there was a breeze. I just plugged the address into my phone’s GPS, and it took me right there. Parking was no problem at all. Plenty of spaces, and I didn’t have to walk far to get to the entrance.
Inside Cashman Field
Once inside, I gotta say, it felt… quiet. Not in a bad way, just not bustling with activity like I might have expected. I walked around the field, taking in the size of it. It’s definitely a big space. You could easily picture a huge crowd here back in the day.
The seats were mostly empty, of course. I sat down for a few minutes, just kind of soaking it in. Imagined what it would have been like to watch a baseball game here years ago. The field itself looked pretty well-maintained, green grass, the whole deal.
Exploring Around
I spent some time just wandering around the concourse area. There were a few concession stands, but they were all closed up. I guess they only open them when there’s an event going on. Makes sense.

- Checked out the restrooms – clean enough.
- Looked for any kind of historical markers or displays, but didn’t find much.
- Saw a few other people walking around, probably doing the same thing I was.
Wrapping Up
After about an hour, I felt like I’d seen pretty much everything there was to see. It wasn’t the most exciting adventure I’ve ever had, but it was cool to see a piece of Las Vegas history. I can see why people have fond memories of this place.
So, that was my trip to Cashman Field. A little bit of a step back in time. Not something I’d necessarily rush back to do, but a nice, low-key way to spend an afternoon.
