Okay, so I’ve been needing a new motorcycle helmet for a while now. My old one was getting pretty beat up, and honestly, it probably wasn’t offering the best protection anymore. After doing some digging around, I decided to check out the Scorpion EXO series. I’d heard good things, and the price point seemed reasonable.

The Hunt Begins
First, I started looking at pictures and tried to find something available. I spent a couple of evenings just browsing, getting a feel for the different models and features. There are a ton of options! Full face, modular, different shell materials… it was a little overwhelming at first.
Narrowing it Down
I knew I wanted a full-face helmet for maximum protection. I ride a sportbike, so I’m often tucked in, and I just feel safer with a full-face. That helped narrow things down considerably. Then I started looking at the specific EXO models. I read a bunch of rider reviews and watched some videos. I paid close attention to what people said about comfort, noise levels, and ventilation – those are big deals for me.
Making a Choice
After all that research, I finally settled on a specific model from the EXO line. I liked the features, the reviews were solid, and the price was right. I made sure to double-check the sizing chart on the Scorpion website, you know, measure my head like they tell you to. It’s super important to get the right fit for safety.
The Test
- The first ride: The helmet is great for head protection, as described.
- Comfort Check: The helmet is soft and no issue at all!
- Noise level: The helmet effectively reduces noise!
Success!
The helmet feels great! It’s snug but not too tight, and the visibility is awesome. The ventilation seems to be working well, too. I’m so happy I made the upgrade. I can ride safer now!
