Okay, so I wanted to figure out who was on that 2014 US Men’s Soccer World Cup team. It’s been a while, and honestly, I couldn’t remember everyone.
First, I just did a basic search. Typed in something like “us men’s soccer team roster world cup 2014”.
Digging Through the Results
The search gave me a bunch of results, I picked the ones that looked, the most promising.
I started going through each player, one by one. I wanted to make sure I had the right names and positions.
Compiling My List
I took the list of names and positions from the sites and start writing a list of the names that I known that was on the 2014 team.
- Tim Howard – Goalkeeper, of course.
- Brad Guzan– Goalkeeper.
- Nick Rimando– Goalkeeper.
I started putting the defenders down, and I am pretty sure about these names.

Finally, I moved on to the forwards.
- Jozy Altidore– Forward
- Clint Dempsey-Forward
- Aron Johannsson-Forward
- Chris Wondolowski-Forward
