Okay, guys, so today I wanted to share my little project about digging into the Mavericks 2022 roster. It’s not super complicated, but it was fun for me, and I thought maybe someone else out there might find it interesting.
So, first things first, I needed to figure out where to even start. I mean, “Mavericks 2022 roster” is pretty broad, right? I just wanted a simple list, nothing fancy. My first move was to go old school.
I opened my browser and typed it in. I was looking for anything, official team page, sports news site, I mean anywhere.
So many options, I tried a few, but some of them were so cluttered with ads and extra stuff I didn’t need, It makes my head spin! But I have kept looking around and I have found the team page and It was good.
Now that I had a decent source, I wanted to get the player names. There are lots of players name and detail, I copied the entire roster table.
Then,I pasted that massive chunk of data, I was ready to clean it up and remove all the extra detail, just kept the player names.
After a bit of manually deleting, I finally had my clean list! It wasn’t rocket science, but it was satisfying to take all that information and boil it down to just what I needed.
