Alright, folks, let’s talk about “emo Jimmy Butler.” I’ve been messing around with this concept, and here’s how it all went down.

First, I got this idea. You know, seeing all those memes and edits of Jimmy Butler looking, well, emo. It’s hilarious and kind of relatable, right? So, I thought, “Why not try to create something with this?”
I started by gathering some pictures. I just went online, you know, image searches, social media, the usual spots. I looked for pictures of Jimmy where he had that specific vibe – maybe looking down, a bit gloomy, you get the picture. I saved a bunch of them to my computer, into a folder I cleverly named, “Emo Jimmy.”
Phase 1: The Basic Look
Then, I figured I needed some music.
- I found myself a song.
- Then, I had downloaded a video editor.
Next, I started playing around with effects. I’m no expert, I just messed with the colors, added some, I don’t know, vintage-looking filter.
I spent a good chunk of time just trying different things. Some of it looked awful, some was kinda cool. It was a lot of trial and error, moving pictures around, adjusting the music, the whole shebang.

Phase 2: Sharing is Caring
Once I had something I didn’t completely hate, I decided to show it to a couple of friends. You know, just to get some feedback. One of them laughed so hard he almost choked, so I guess that’s a good sign?
They gave me some tips, like, “Make it a little shorter,” or “Maybe add this picture instead.” So I went back and tweaked it some more. I’m still not sure if it’s perfect, but it’s definitely… something.
Finally, I decided this is it, and then I’m done with it. I found it super funny and cool!
