Getting Started
Alright, so the other day I got curious about Darius Garland. Felt like I hadn’t really focused on how he’s been playing specifically over a stretch, you know? Just bits and pieces here and there. Decided I’d take a look at his last 10 games, just to get a feel for it myself.

The Process – Digging In
So, first thing, I went over to my computer. Opened up the browser and navigated to one of those sites, you know, the ones with all the sports numbers. Took a second to find the right spot, lots of stuff flashing around usually.
Typed in “Darius Garland”. His player page popped up. Then I had to hunt around a little bit for the game logs. Sometimes they call it ‘game log’, sometimes ‘recent games’, stuff like that. Found it. Most sites let you filter, so I set it to show just the last 10 games he actually played in. Makes it easier than counting back yourself.
Then I just started going through it, game by game. Didn’t do anything too fancy, just looked at the main things:
- Points, obviously.
- Assists, ’cause he’s the point guard.
- Shooting percentages – field goals and threes. Kinda tells you if he was efficient or just chucking.
- Maybe turnovers too, see if he was being careful with the ball.
I wasn’t building a spreadsheet or anything super serious, more just scanning and getting a mental picture.
What I Noticed
Looking back over those 10 games, it was a bit of a mixed bag, honestly. That’s basketball, right?

Points: They were definitely fluctuating. Had some nights where he really lit it up, looked like the main guy. Then other nights, the scoring wasn’t quite there. Maybe depended on the matchup or if Mitchell was hot that night, who knows.
Assists: Seemed pretty solid, pretty consistent across the board. He’s definitely looking to get his teammates involved, which is good to see. That part of his game felt steady.
Shooting: This was interesting. The efficiency really bounced around. Some games he’d be shooting lights out, hitting threes. Other games, not so much, maybe forcing things a bit. It wasn’t bad overall, but definitely streaky game-to-game in that stretch.
Turnovers seemed okay, didn’t see anything too alarming there for a guy who handles the ball so much.
Final Thoughts
So yeah, that was my little dive into Garland’s recent performance. Took maybe 10-15 minutes just to pull up the numbers and skim through them. Seems like he’s still doing his thing, contributing in different ways each night. Maybe still finding that perfect consistency, especially with scoring, but the playmaking looks decent. It’s always interesting to look past the highlights and just see the raw game-by-game stuff sometimes.

Pretty straightforward process, really. Just needed to know where to look online and spend a few minutes clicking around. Gives you a slightly better picture than just catching scores.
