Alright, let me tell you about my trip out to see the Epic campus near Madison. Heard about it for ages, you know? People always talking about how wild the place is, like Disneyland for office workers or something. Took me a while, but I finally managed to sort out a visit.

Getting It Sorted
It wasn’t like just showing up, you know. I had a buddy whose cousin works kinda connected to them, and after a bit of back and forth, we managed to get me tacked onto a group that was already scheduled for a tour. Felt a bit like sneaking in, but hey, it worked. Just wanted to see what all the fuss was about with my own eyes.
Heading Out There
So, I drove out towards Verona. Once you get close, you can’t miss it. The place is massive. Seriously, it just keeps going. Parking was easy enough, big lots everywhere. Walking towards the main buildings, it already felt… different. Not like your typical office park at all. More like entering some kind of self-contained world.
Walking Around Inside
The tour started, and man, it was something else. We went through all these different buildings, and each one had a crazy theme. Seriously wild stuff.
- There was one that looked like a giant barn on the outside, and inside it kept the farm vibe going.
- Then we were walking through hallways that felt like old castles, stone walls and everything.
- Another area was straight-up fantasy, like out of some wizard movie. Saw folks having meetings in rooms themed like subway cars too.
- Don’t even get me started on the artwork. Sculptures, paintings, weird installations everywhere you looked. Some were cool, some were just plain odd.
We walked through these long underground tunnels connecting buildings. They had themes too! Kept thinking, people actually work here every day? It’s a lot to take in. The scale is huge, and the detail they put into these themes is intense. Saw the big auditorium thing too, Deep Space I think they called it? Huge screen, felt like a movie theater.
What I Thought
Honestly? It was pretty overwhelming. Super impressive, don’t get me wrong. The creativity is off the charts. You can see they spared no expense making this place unique. But it also felt a bit like sensory overload after a while. Is it a productive place to work? Hard for me to say, just visiting. It’s definitely memorable, though. You won’t forget seeing a place like that. Definitely not your average Tuesday at the office.

Glad I went. It was worth the effort to arrange it. Just seeing that level of themed design in a corporate setting was an experience in itself. Something totally different.
