LaVine just re-signed last year, right? Felt confused. Decided right then, over my lukewarm coffee, I needed to figure out where this “news” was actually coming from. Seemed fake or super old.
Grabbed my laptop, spilled some coffee crumbs on the keyboard (classic). Went straight to the NBA’s official site. Searched “Zach LaVine contract”. Boom. Found it. His actual deal, signed ages ago in 2022, right there. Felt like an idiot initially, but then realized the headline tricked me. It was old news pretending to be fresh.
