Okay so I’ve been trying to catch the races at Mountaineer Park lately because you know how it is, you miss watching them live sometimes. Really wanted to figure out how to stream it properly on my phone or laptop without any hassle. Figured I’d share what I actually did, step by step, because honestly it took me a bit.
The Annoying Start: Not Seeing Anything Useful
First thing, I grabbed my phone. Pretty standard. I opened up my normal browsers, typed in stuff like “Mountaineer Park live stream” and “watch races online.” You know what I mostly got? A bunch of junk sites or pages talking about the races but not actually showing them. Super frustrating. Then I started trying all the usual sports streaming apps I had installed, just in case. Figuring Out the Basic Requirements

Back on my phone? Had to open the browser again, go to that same racing portal website, scroll to the races, find that little “Watch” button or video icon. Clicked it. Again, it just worked through the phone browser. Didn’t even bother reopening their app because the web version was easier just to watch.
The Final Test & What I Learned
To make sure it wasn’t a fluke, I tried it again the next day. Same process:
- Go to Mountaineer Park website
- Find link to the big racing portal
- Go there, find the races happening NOW
- Look for the tiny little “Watch” or “Video” button/link near the race listing
- Click it!
Consistently worked on both my computer screen and my phone screen. Didn’t have to log in, didn’t have to deposit money just to watch the race stream. The key was totally finding that specific portal and then spotting that little video icon. No app needed just for watching, even on the phone.
So yeah, figured it out through trial and error. Glad I did, saves me time now!
