Today was a pretty cool day – I finally got to put my new camera to the test at T-Mobile Park. I’ve been wanting to shoot some 4K video there for a while, and man, it was worth the wait! I started out on one end of the top deck.
The view from up there is just insane. You can see the whole field, the bleachers, and even the Seattle skyline in the background. It was a bit of a hike to get up there, but definitely a good way to get my steps in for the day.
- Walked from one end of the top deck to the other.
- Captured some footage along the way.
- The weather was perfect, by the way – sunny with a few clouds.
I recorded for about an hour. The sun was shining, and the colors just popped on the recording. I panned around, zoomed in on the field, and even caught a few players warming up. It was a beautiful day in Seattle, and T-Mobile Park never looked better.
Details of My Recording
- Started my trek at the far left end of the top deck.
- Slowly made my way to the right, stopping every few feet to get a different angle.
- The whole walk took me around thirty minutes, not counting the recording time.
- I used my wide-angle lens for most of the shots to capture as much as possible.
After I finished on the top deck, I walked around the rest of the stadium for a bit. I filmed some of the crowds and the general atmosphere. It was a pretty chill vibe overall, even though there wasn’t a game going on. When I got home, I popped the memory card into my computer and started checking out the footage. Let me tell you, it looked amazing. The 4K resolution really made a difference – everything was so crisp and clear. I can’t wait to edit this stuff and share it with you guys!
I spent the rest of the evening backing up the files and started thinking about how I want to edit them. Maybe I’ll add some music or do a little time-lapse.
