Okay, so I wanted to see all the events in Stardew Valley. You know, those little cutscenes and happenings with the townsfolk? I’d seen a few, but I was curious about all of them. So I started to do research on how to trigger all events.

First, I opened up a new save file. Started with a simple plan, make some friends. It turned out to be a big project!

Getting Started (and Getting Lost)

My first step? Googling. I just typed in “stardew valley all events” and hoped for the best. I found a bunch of stuff, mostly forum posts and wiki pages. It was kinda overwhelming, to be honest. So much information, and it was all over the place!

I spent, I don’t know, maybe an hour just reading through different things. Some guides were super detailed, listing every single heart event for every character. Others were more general, giving tips on how to raise friendship levels quickly. I felt a bit like I was drowning in information. So many guides, and tips!

Making a Plan (Sort Of)

After all that reading, I decided I needed a plan. I couldn’t just randomly run around and hope to see everything. So, I grabbed a notebook and a pen (yeah, I’m old school like that) and started making some notes.

  • Focus on Friendship: I figured the best way to see events was to get my friendship levels up with everyone. That meant talking to people every day, giving them gifts they liked, and doing those “Help Wanted” quests on the board outside Pierre’s.
  • Prioritize Certain Characters: Some characters seemed to have more events than others. I saw a lot of stuff about Shane, for example, so I decided to focus on him first.
  • Keep Track: I used my notebook to jot down who I’d given gifts to, what their favorite things were (thanks, Wiki!), and which events I’d already seen.

Putting it into Practice (and Failing… a Lot)

I thought I was making every villagers to be my best friends. But it did work, I keep talking to villagers, do some small tasks, and gave them some gifts.

Okay, so my “plan” wasn’t perfect. I missed birthdays (oops!), gave people gifts they hated (double oops!), and generally just messed up a bunch of times. It turns out, remembering everyone’s favorite things and their schedules is HARD.

There were a few times I got frustrated. Like, I’d spend a whole week trying to get a certain character to a certain heart level, only to realize I’d missed a crucial detail and had to start all over. But, I kept at it. I mean, I’d already sunk so much time into this, I wasn’t about to give up!

Finally, Seeing the Events!

Slowly but surely, I started seeing results. I got to see Shane’s six-heart event (that was a tough one!), watched Penny and Pam have a heart-to-heart, and even helped Sam start a band. It was actually pretty cool, seeing these little stories unfold.

I definitely didn’t see every event. I’m sure I missed some. But I saw a lot more than I would have if I hadn’t put in the effort. And I learned a ton about the game, and the characters, in the process.

So, was it worth it? Yeah, I think so. It was a lot of work, and it was definitely frustrating at times, but it was also pretty rewarding. If you’re thinking about trying to see all the events in Stardew Valley, my advice is this: be patient, be organized, and don’t be afraid to use the Wiki! And maybe, you know, don’t try to do it all in one go. Learn from my mistakes, people!
