Today, I dug into this “forwardDallas” thing. It’s been on my radar for a while, and I finally decided to see what it’s all about.
Getting Started
First, I tried to get a handle on what forwardDallas actually is. From what I gathered it is like a complete city plan. I tried to find what I needed for that and it takes a bit to find everything that is what you need.
Diving In
My main goal: was to figure out a way to find the specific things for my area. So, off I went.
- Spent a good chunk of time digging through the official website. It’s kinda dense, I’m not gonna lie.
- Found some map, and tried to find the information that pertained to what I needed specifically.
- It was really cool seeing some of the ideas and the things they want to implement long term.
Making Sense of It All
After a few hours of clicking around, I started to piece things together. I found out all the small details for things related to me and I think I finally got everything I needed.
Wrapping Up
I’m not gonna pretend I’m an expert on forwardDallas now. But I definitely have a better understanding. It was a bit of a slog at times, but I’m glad I finally took the time to explore it.
If you’re in Dallas, it might be worth poking around yourself. Just be prepared to do some digging!
