Alright, so the other day I was kinda curious about who actually owns the UFC, you know, the big mixed martial arts thing. So, I started digging around.

First, I just did a simple search, just typing in “who owns the UFC” to see what would pop up. I got a bunch of articles and stuff, but it wasn’t super clear at first.
Digging a Little Deeper
Then, I started looking at some of the more “official” looking websites, like sports news sites and things like that. It became clear pretty quickly that it wasn’t just one person.
- I found out that a company called Endeavor is the majority owner.
- Apparently, they bought a big chunk of the UFC back in 2016, and then they grabbed the rest of it later on.
- Before that, there were these two brothers, the Fertitta brothers, who owned it. They were the ones who really built it up into what it is today.
So yeah, it’s not like some rich dude just owns the whole thing. It’s a big company, Endeavor, that’s in charge. They do all kinds of entertainment stuff, not just the UFC.
It was actually kind of interesting to learn about the whole history, how it went from this smaller thing to this huge global business. It took a bit of digging, but I eventually figured it all out. Just goes to show, sometimes you gotta poke around a bit to get the full story!
