So, I finally made it out to the Cornell golf course the other day. Been meaning to check it out for ages, you know? Heard good things, but never actually carved out the time.

Cornell Golf Course Review: Is It Worth Playing? (Honest Opinion)

Getting Started

First off, I booked a tee time online. It was pretty straightforward. I picked a time, grabbed my clubs and I was good to go on the day.

The Course Itself

Pulled up, parked, and headed to the pro shop. Checked in, got a scorecard. The staff was friendly enough. The guy gave me a quick rundown of the course layout which was very kind. Then I went to practice my putting on the green before beginning my round.

Man, the course itself? It’s in pretty good shape. The fairways were nicely mowed, and the greens were rolling pretty true. Not too fast, not too slow, you know, just right for a casual round.

  • Hole 1: Started off with a decent drive, a little to the right, but playable.
  • Hole 5: This par 3 gave me some trouble. Water hazard on the left, bunker on the right… Ended up taking a bogey.
  • Hole 9: Finished the front nine with a par. Felt pretty good about that!
  • Hole 14:There was a bit of a backup.
  • Hole 18: Finished Strong!

Overall Impression

All in all, it was a solid day of golf. I liked the course, didn’t lose too many balls, and the weather held up. I would definitely go back. If you are thinking about it, do it.
