So, I bumped into this thing called “coote” the other day, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I’m always up for trying new tech stuff, so I decided to give it a whirl. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster.

First off, I tried to find some decent instructions. You know, something that would actually tell me what to do, step by step. Yeah, good luck with that. I found some bits and pieces here and there, but nothing really comprehensive. So, I was pretty much on my own.
Getting Started (Kind Of)
I started by, you know, just messing around. Downloaded some files, poked around in the folders, trying to figure out what went where. It was like assembling IKEA furniture without the instructions. Except with more swearing.
I think I installed it… maybe? Honestly, I’m not even 100% sure. There were a few moments where I thought I’d bricked my entire system, but somehow it kept chugging along.
Experimenting and Failing (A Lot)
- Attempt 1: I clicked on a bunch of buttons. Things happened. Not sure what, though.
- Attempt 2: I tried dragging some files into other files. More things happened. Still clueless.
- Attempt 3: I read some more random forum posts. Got even more confused.
- Attempt 4: I make another try. This time, it’s a great process and made me so excited!
Success! (I Think?)
After a few hours of trial and error (mostly error), I finally got something that looked like it was working. I mean, I think it was working. It did something, and that something seemed to be what I wanted it to do. So, I’m calling it a win.
I did something, and that something seemed to be what I wanted it to do,I push some buttons, it runs well.
I still use that tool till now!
Basically, my experience with “coote” was a chaotic mess of confusion, frustration, and eventual, maybe-sort-of success. Would I recommend it? Honestly, I have no idea. If you’re feeling adventurous and have a lot of time to kill, go for it. Otherwise, maybe wait for someone to write a proper tutorial.
