Okay, so today I decided to mess around with “olde fort,” just to see what it’s all about. I’d heard some whispers, seen some screenshots, and figured, why not?

First thing I did was, well, try to find the dang thing. It’s not exactly plastered everywhere, you know? Took a bit of digging, but I eventually stumbled upon it.
Once I got it, I launched it. And wow, the initial vibe is, shall we say, retro. Very old-school, very basic. I could tell this was going to be an experience.
So, I started poking around. I clicked on everything I could. There are few buttons and menus. There’s not a ton to interact with, from what I gathered, It is mostly just wandering around, exploring.
My First Steps
- I moved my character around, simple as that. No fancy controls here, just basic movement.
- I tried to find some kind of objective, or something to do. But, at first, I just found a bunch of, well, nothing.
- I discovered a few hidden pathways and secret areas. That was kind of cool. Felt like real exploring.
Honestly, after a while, I still wasn’t totally sure what the “point” was. But the simplicity was kind of addicting. It’s so unlike most things out there. And there’s something kind of relaxing about just wandering around this old digital fort, with no pressure, no goals, just…being there.
I spent a good chunk of time just wandering around. I am sure i have missed stuff, but still enjoy it.

I even got a little lost at times, which was frustrating but also kind of part of the fun. It’s like a real maze, in a way.
By the end of it, I felt like I’d had a unique little experience. It’s not going to be for everyone, that’s for sure. But if you’re into that old-school aesthetic and don’t mind a lack of clear direction, you might get a kick out of it.
