Okay, so today, I messed around with my YZF450. Nothing too crazy, just wanted to share what I did.

Getting Started
First things first, I pulled the bike out of the garage and gave it a quick once-over. Checked the tire pressure, made sure the chain was lubed, and topped off the fuel. You know, the usual pre-ride stuff.
The Fun Part
- Ripped around my backyard track for a bit. It’s nothing fancy, just a few berms and a couple of small jumps I built myself.
- Felt the suspension was a little soft, so I grabbed my tools and added a few clicks of compression damping to the forks.
- Went back out and hit the track again. Much better! The bike felt more planted and didn’t bottom out as easily.
- Practiced some cornering drills, really trying to focus on my body position and keeping my momentum up.
Wrapping Up
After about an hour, I was pretty beat. Pulled the bike back into the garage, wiped it down, and put it back on the stand. All in all, a good day of riding!
Nothing super technical, just some basic maintenance and a fun practice session. That’s how I like to spend my time with the YZF450!
