Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “affirmatif” thing, and I gotta say, it’s been a bit of a journey. Let me walk you through what I did.

First, I started by just trying to understand what it even was. I mean, “affirmatif”? Sounds fancy, right? Turns out, it’s all about those positive affirmations, you know, telling yourself good stuff to feel better. I’m usually pretty skeptical of this kind of thing, but hey, I figured, why not give it a shot?
My Little Experiment
I decided to keep it simple. No crazy complicated affirmations, just a few basic ones. I picked three:
- “I am capable of handling anything that comes my way.”
- “I am confident and strong.”
- “I am grateful for all the good things in my life.”
Then, the real work began. Every morning, before I even got out of bed, I forced myself to repeat these affirmations. Out loud. It felt super weird at first, like I was talking to a wall. And honestly, some mornings I just mumbled them, half-asleep. But I stuck with it.
I also tried saying them throughout the day, whenever I felt stressed or down. Like, if I had a tough meeting at work, I’d sneak into the bathroom and whisper “I am confident and strong” to myself in the mirror. It felt a bit silly, but sometimes it actually helped a little.
After that, I also write * it down repeatedly is also a way.

So, after a few weeks of this, what’s the verdict? Did it magically transform me into a super-positive, always-happy person? Nope. Not even close. But… I did notice a slight shift. I found myself feeling a bit more resilient, a bit less quick to freak out when things went wrong. It was like a tiny little buffer against the daily stresses of life.
It’s not a miracle cure, and I’m still not totally sold on the whole “manifest your dreams” thing. But I think there’s something to be said for consciously choosing to focus on the positive. Even if it’s just a little bit, it can make a difference. I’ll probably keep doing this, just to see where it goes. Who knows, maybe I’ll become a full-blown affirmation addict!
