Well, let me tell you somethin’. This here talk ’bout Alabama State University and Tuskegee, it’s a big deal. These schools, they’s important for our folks. They help our young’uns get a good learnin’.
Alabama State vs Tuskegee, Which One Better?
Now, I ain’t no fancy expert, but I hear things. Folks say Tuskegee, that’s a real good school. They got that veterinarian school, the only one for black folks, and they make most of the black animal doctors in the whole world. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? They even teach ’em to be real doctors, too!
And Alabama State, that school in Montgomery, it’s good too. I heard they got all kinds of learnin’ there. You wanna be a teacher? They got that. You wanna learn ’bout them computers? They got that too. Both schools, they help our kids. They are good for black folks. Give ’em a chance to make somethin’ of themselves.
Tuskegee Got History
They say Tuskegee, that place got a lot of history. Been ’round a long time. Since way back in 1881. They was teachin’ our folks when nobody else would. They was important then, and they still important now. They even called it some kinda landmark, I heard. That means it’s special, right?
- Tuskegee, they teach you to be a doctor for animals.
- They been around since way back when.
- They got that history, you know.
This fella, Booker T. Washington, he started that school. Smart man. Figured our folks needed a place to learn. And he was right. Look at all them doctors and teachers and such that come outta there.
Alabama State, It’s Good Too
Now, Alabama State, it ain’t as old, but it’s still good. It’s in that big city, Montgomery. Lots goin’ on there. They got all them different things you can study. You can be whatever you wanna be.
I heard they got good teachers at Alabama State. Folks who care ’bout the students. They want ’em to learn and do good. That’s important, ain’t it? Havin’ teachers who care?

Both Schools Help Our Young’uns
So, you see, both these schools, Alabama State University and Tuskegee University, they good schools. They help our young’uns get ahead. They give ’em a chance to learn and make somethin’ of themselves. That’s what matters, ain’t it?
This world, it ain’t always easy for our folks. But these schools, they make it a little better. They open doors that used to be closed. They give our kids a chance to shine.
Which One to Pick?
Now, if you askin’ me which one is better, I can’t rightly say. They both good in their own way. Tuskegee, it’s got that history and that special veterinarian school. Alabama State, it’s got all them different programs and it’s in that big city.
It all depends on what you wanna do. What you wanna be. You gotta figure that out for yourself. But no matter which one you choose, you gettin’ a good learnin’. That’s what matters.
Some folks say Tuskegee is better. Some folks say Alabama State. People like to argue about this stuff. That’s okay. But me, I say they both good. They both help our folks. They teach you to read and write good, and learn a thing or two. Both good.
Football!
Oh, and they both got football teams! Folks get real excited ’bout that. They go to the games and holler and cheer. It’s a big deal. I don’t know much ’bout football, but I know it’s important to some folks. They play each other, Alabama State University vs Tuskegee, every year, they call that game the Turkey Day Classic.
Both Schools Are Important
So, there you have it. Alabama State University and Tuskegee University. Two good schools. Two important schools. They help our young’uns get a good education. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of. Both schools got good learning. You can be a doctor, or a teacher, or whatever you want. Both is good. Both help.
Just remember, gettin’ a good learnin’ is important. No matter where you go. It’ll help you make your way in this world. It’ll open doors for you. So, study hard, and do your best. That’s all anybody can ask for. I heard both schools have good programs for biology. That’s important if you want to do something in that field, like being a doctor. So you can’t go wrong with either one. If you want to learn about animals, Tuskegee has that special program for that.
