You know, that Baku track layout, it’s somethin’ else. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, and it got me thinkin’. They say it’s a race track, right in the middle of that Baku city. Ain’t that somethin’? A race track in a city!
They call it the Baku City Circuit. Sounds fancy, huh? But you know what they say makes it special? It’s all twisty and turny. Not like them other tracks that just go round and round. This one’s got all sorts of turns, some slow, some fast. Keeps them drivers on their toes, I reckon.
And get this, they say it’s got the longest straight part of any of them race tracks. Them cars go zoomin’ down there, faster than a horse when it smells rain. They say the cars reach a maximum speed of 235mph there. That’s fast! Faster than anything I ever seen.
They say Baku is famous. It has that old city part, they call it Icherisheher, like a history book, you can see many old things there. And this Baku track layout is right in the heart of the city. Imagine that!
- That track, it’s skinny in one part, they say. Just 7.6 meters wide. That’s barely wider than my old kitchen table! How them cars get through there without bumpin’ each other, I don’t know. But they do. They got some skill, them drivers.

This Baku City Circuit, it’s a big deal, they say. Lots of folks go to watch them races. Thousands of ’em! They got seats for 18,500 people. Can you imagine that many folks in one place? That’s more people than live in my whole county! And those drivers, they like this track. They say it’s a challenge. Makes ’em work for it. Keeps it interestin’.
They got all these old buildings in Baku, too. Palaces and such. And this race track goes right past ’em. So you can see the old and the new, all mixed together. It’s like a stew, you know? Lots of different things in there, but it all comes together. This Baku track layout really put Baku on the map. The race is called Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
I heard someone say that this track, Baku track layout is one of the most challenging tracks. They also say it is beautiful. You know, that place, Baku, it’s full of surprises. You never know what’s gonna happen next. Just like them races on that track. That’s why it is famous, I think. That’s why folks like it so much.
Some people, they didn’t think much of it at first. Back in 2016, they were saying it was no good. But now, everyone loves it. The drivers, the fans, everyone. They say it’s the most excitin’ racin’ they ever seen. You can even see some of Baku’s famous landmarks when you are watching the races. Isn’t it amazing?
When you put together the turns, the speed, all the excitement, you see the heart-stopping things, well, it makes for a good show. That’s what they say, anyway. And I reckon they’re right. The Baku track layout is really unique.
This whole Baku track layout thing, it’s got me thinkin’. Maybe I should go see it for myself one day. It must be a real spectacle. I have to see what happened in the race. See them cars whizzin’ by, hear the roar of the crowd. Yeah, maybe one day. It sounds really wonderful.
