Okay, so, let me tell you about my little adventure figuring out who’s announcing for the Twins on Bally Sports North today. I’m a huge Twins fan, right? And like many of you, I’ve been kinda confused about the whole announcer situation this season.

Bally Sports North Twins Announcers Today: Whos Calling the Game?

First off, I really missed Dick Bremer. That guy was the voice of the Twins for, like, forever! It felt weird not hearing him. So, I did what any normal person would do – I started digging. It turns out, Corey Provus is stepping in. I knew his voice from the radio broadcasts he has been doing that since, like, 2012 – pretty familiar, so that’s cool.

But then I was like, “Who’s gonna be in the booth with him?” That’s where it got interesting. They seem to be rotating a bunch of former Twins players. I love this idea, by the way! I saw a piece mentioning Justin Morneau, Glen Perkins, Trevor Plouffe, and LaTroy Hawkins. That’s a solid crew! These guys know the game inside and out, and they’ve all got great personalities. It’s awesome to hear their insights during the games.

  • Finding the Schedule

So, I wanted to know who was on tap for today’s game. It took a bit of searching, but I finally figured out that there’s no fixed schedule, it’s more of a mix-and-match situation. I mean, with Bally Sports North.

My Little Research Project

I even stumbled upon some articles talking about the whole Bally Sports North drama and how they might not even be broadcasting the games soon. Which also made me search about the former Tampa Bay Rays player, Manuel Margot, who is joining the Twins this season. I also read something about Denard Span, who started his career with the Twins. It was quite the rabbit hole, I tell ya!

Anyway, I just wanted to share my little investigation with y’all. It’s been fun trying to keep up with the announcer situation, and I’m actually really enjoying the variety. It’s like a little surprise every time I tune in!
