Oh, honey, let me tell you, I seen that picture of them Celtics boys, the 2024 championship photo. Lord have mercy, they was somethin’ else! All smilin’ and huggin’, lookin’ like they just won a whole mess of money at the county fair.
And that trophy! Big and shiny, like a brand new tractor. They was holdin’ it up high, prouder than a rooster in a henhouse. I reckon they worked real hard for that. Reminds me of my old man, bless his soul, after he finally got that stubborn mule to plow the south field. Same kinda look on his face.
That Tatum Boy, He’s a Good One
That Tatum fella, he was right there in the middle, grinnin’ from ear to ear. He’s a good boy, that one. Plays real good. Kinda like my grandson, always runnin’ and jumpin’ around. Cept this Tatum boy gets paid for it! Can you imagine?
And that Brown fella, standin’ right next to him. Strong as an ox, that one is. He was holdin’ up that trophy like it weren’t nothin’. Reminds me of the time we had to lift that big ol’ hog onto the truck. Took four of us, and we still barely managed.

A Whole Lotta Green
They all had them green shirts on. Green as the grass in the springtime. Made me think of plantin’ season. Gotta get them seeds in the ground before the last frost, you know. These Celtics boys, they planted their seeds and look what they grew! A championship! Who woulda thunk it?
And all them people cheerin’ and hollerin’ in the background, musta been a sight to see. Like when we had that big barn raisin’ down at the Johnson place. Whole town came out. Music playin’, folks dancin’, enough food to feed an army. Good times, good times.
I bet them Celtics boys had a party after this picture was took. A real big one! Probably had a big ol’ spread with all kinda food. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, the whole nine yards. And cake! Can’t forget the cake. Gotta have a cake at a celebration, that’s what my mama always said.
The Boston Celtics, Champions Again
Yep, them Boston Celtics, they did good. Real good. Brought home that 2024 championship. That photo is gonna be around for a long time, I reckon. Folks will be lookin’ at it years from now, rememberin’ this day. Just like we still talk about the time old man Hemmings won the pie-eatin’ contest at the state fair. Legendary, that was.
They all look so happy, them boys. Makes my old heart feel good to see it. Hard work pays off, that’s what I always say. And these fellas, they worked harder than a one-legged cat in a sandbox. They deserved that win. They sure did.

Celtics, Celtics, 2024 championship, that’s what they gonna be callin’ them for a long time. I tell you what. These guys, they play good, they jump good, they run good. They do all the things good. This year, they are the best in the NBA.
That photo, it’s a keeper. A real keeper. Might even try to find a copy for myself. Hang it up right next to my picture of Elvis. Why not? They both winners, ain’t they? Champions. Yep, that is what they are, champions of 2024.
I heard them Celtics beat them Dallas boys. I don’t know much about Dallas, but I know them Celtics boys, they sure can play. They got that 18th win. I don’t know what that means, but it sure sounds important! This 2024 championship photo is really somethin’, I tell ya.
It was a real good game, I heard. Lots of jumpin’ and runnin’. That’s what they are good at. These young people run fast, jump high. They playin’ all day. It is all good. They worked hard, all of them Celtics boys. 2024 is their year. The photo shows them all happy. It is a good photo.

That’s the thing about life, ain’t it? You gotta work hard for what you want. Nothin’ comes easy. Cept maybe weeds in the garden. Those things grow like nobody’s business. But championships? Those you gotta earn. And these Celtics boys, they earned it, fair and square. That 2024 championship photo is proof.
They’re the best team this year, that’s for sure. Number one. Top of the heap. Cream of the crop. You name it. They made Boston proud, that’s what they did. That’s a good city, Boston. Celtics are a good team. This photo, it is gonna be famous. A lot of people are gonna see it. It is a good thing to remember the 2024 championship. I bet that Tatum boy, his mama is real proud.
