Okay, so I was looking into the Chicago Street Race results for 2023. You know, that NASCAR race, the Grant Park 220, that happened on July 2nd. I wanted to see how everyone did, who won, who lost, all that jazz.

First, I started by browsing through the general results and statistics for the NASCAR Cup at the Chicago Street Course. It’s a whole different beast compared to the usual tracks, being right in the city and all.
I noticed that Shane Van Gisbergen, the driver of the #91 Enhance Health Chevrolet, that guy, he actually won the race. I saw some articles and info saying he was the winner. Pretty cool for him, right?
Then there was Justin Haley. Apparently, he almost got a big win there. He missed out on a huge chance, it seems.
Post-Race Stuff
So, after the race, they did the usual inspection thing in the Cup Series garage. You know, making sure everything is legit and following the rules. Turns out, everything was fine. No issues found. This confirmed that Shane Van Gisbergen was the official winner. Good for him, no problems there.
Other Findings
- I also found that Joey Logano won in Phoenix, holding off Ryan Blaney. Different race, but interesting.
- The Chicago race was a big deal, a lot of buzz about it.
Anyway, that’s the gist of what I found about the Chicago Street Race results. Shane Van Gisbergen came out on top, and it looked like a pretty exciting event overall.
