This Dak Prescott, he’s that quarterback fella for the Dallas Cowboys, right? Heard some folks talking down at the market. They saying he might be traded. Trade, I say! Like he’s some old mule you swap for a younger one. Land sakes!

Dallas Cowboys Trade Dak Prescott: Breaking Down the Deal and Who Wins the Trade

Now, I ain’t no fancy football expert, you know. I just watch the games when they’re on. But that Dak, he seems like a good boy. Throws the ball real good, sometimes. Other times, well… not so much. Still, he’s our quarterback, ain’t he? Trading him just seems like a whole heap of trouble, if you ask me.

They saying it’s ’cause of the money. Big money, these fellas get. More money than I’ve seen in my whole life, that’s for sure. Heard something about a 4 year deal, and some crazy number like $240 million. Good lord! Enough to buy all the cows in Texas, I reckon. They also saying about some other big number like $60 million a year, I don’t know what’s that mean, just sound like a lot of money. And that $231 million, they said it’s guaranteed, no matter what, that boy get that much money, bless his heart!

  • Big contract
  • Lots of money
  • Dallas Cowboys might trade him

They say Dallas Cowboys need to find this Dak some help. What kind of help they need? A new mule to pull the cart? Just kidding. They’re talking about other players, I guess. It’s all a bit confusing to me. But if Dak needs help, they should just give him some. Why trade him away like some old worn-out shoe?

That one fella, Todd, he writes about these things. Heard his name mentioned. He’s an NFL reporter, they say. Whatever that means. He talks about the Dallas Cowboys a lot, apparently. Says he’s been watching them since ’03. That’s a long time to be watching anything, if you ask me.

And then they bring in some other fella, a wide receiver they call him. Some name like Jonathan Mingo. They say the Cowboys traded for him with the Carolina Panthers. Sent some draft picks over there for 2025. It’s like trading chickens, this whole thing is. So the Dallas Cowboys trade Dak Prescott, but they also trade for other players, I just don’t get it.

Now, to trade Dak, they gotta get him to agree to it, I hear. He’s got some kind of clause, they call it. A “no-trade” clause. Sounds like a bunch of lawyer talk to me. Basically, he can say “nope” to any trade, like a stubborn old goat. He’s got to say it’s alright. And they gotta find a team he wants to go to, all this Dak Prescott trade thing is so complicated!

Seems like there’s plenty of teams out there looking for a quarterback. Like folks looking for a good milk cow. They all want the best one, and Dak, well, he’s one of the best, ain’t he? Even if he does throw a bad pass every now and then. But if Dallas Cowboys wants to trade him, they need to do a lot of things.

But then, I heard someone saying Cowboys‘ deal with Dak is done. So maybe they not gonna trade him? Oh, these folks just like to talk. Make a big fuss about nothing, if you ask me. They get paid to write about this stuff, so they gotta make it sound all important, I reckon.

It’s all a big hullabaloo, this whole Dallas Cowboys trade Dak Prescott business. Like a bunch of chickens squawking in the henhouse. They go back and forth, one minute he’s staying, next minute he’s going. Just makes my head spin.

  • Dak Prescott has a no-trade clause
  • Other teams want a quarterback
  • Dak’s deal might be done

They say this Dak Prescott agreed to some big extension thing. Four years, they said. And they finalized it, whatever that means. Sounds like a lot of paperwork to me.

Then there was talk about moving on from Dak at the trade deadline. I don’t know what is “trade deadline”, just sound like some made up word. Someone from Bleacher Report, whoever that is, was talking about it. Seems like everyone’s got an opinion on this Dallas Cowboys trade Dak Prescott thing.

I just hope they figure it out soon. All this talk is making me tired. I’m gonna go have a cup of coffee and sit on the porch. Maybe watch the birds. They don’t worry about trades and contracts. They just fly around and sing. Seems like a much simpler life.

That’s all about this Dak Prescott trade thing, if you want to know more, you need to ask someone else. I am just an old lady, what do I know about football.
