Okay, so here’s the deal. I wanted to watch the Champions League, but I didn’t know where to start. I’ve heard about this discovery+ thing, so I figured I’d give it a shot.

Signing Up
First, I went on their website. It said that you could watch TNT Sports through it, which supposedly has all the Champions League games. Seemed straightforward enough. They were offering different plans, and honestly, it was a bit confusing at first.
- Monthly Plan: This was like 30.99 pounds a month. Pretty steep if you ask me.
- Other Options: Apparently, if you’re with certain broadband providers like BT, EE, or Virgin, you could get it for cheaper, around 18 pounds a month. But I’m not with any of those, so that was a no-go for me.
- Through Sky: That was another 30 pounds per month.
I decided to just go with the monthly plan on discovery+, just to try it out.
Figuring Out the Channels
Once I signed up, I had to figure out where to actually watch the games. Turns out, TNT Sports is where it’s at. They have a bunch of different channels, and you have to find out which one is showing the specific game you want to watch. Not the most user-friendly system, but I managed.
Watching the Games
Finally, I got to watch some games! The quality was pretty good, I gotta say. They have all the matches, replays, highlights, and all that jazz. They even have other sports, like the Europa League and some Premier League games, which is a nice bonus. They also have all sorts of other TV shows as well, from Food Network and Animal Planet and more. Pretty cool.
Overall Thoughts
So, is discovery+ worth it for watching the Champions League? If you’re a die-hard fan, maybe. It’s a bit pricey, especially if you’re not with one of those broadband providers. But, it does give you access to all the games, and the quality is good. If you’re just a casual viewer, it might be a bit much. You could probably just catch the highlights somewhere else for free. Or maybe ask your mate who has the subscription to watch the game at their place. That’s my two cents, anyway.
