Alright, so let me tell you about my trip to Dubai in March. It was something else, let me tell you!

Dubai Weather in March: Temperature, What to Pack & More

First off, I started planning like, months in advance. I mean, flights to Dubai aren’t exactly cheap, right? So I hopped online, started checking out different airlines, comparison websites, the whole shebang. I ended up snagging a decent deal with Emirates, direct flight and all. Score!

Next up, accommodation. I knew I wanted something central, close to the action, but not break the bank. Looked at hotels, apartments, Airbnb. Finally settled on a pretty cool apartment near the Dubai Marina. Had a balcony with a view, kitchenette, the works. Booked it solid!

Then came the fun part – figuring out what to actually do in Dubai. Burj Khalifa was a must, obviously. Booked my tickets online to skip the lines. Desert safari? Yep, that was on the list too. Found a tour company with good reviews and booked a sunset dune bashing adventure. And of course, I looked up the best places to eat – gotta try the local food!

Packing was a breeze, thankfully. Light clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses – the usual desert essentials. Threw in a nicer outfit for dinner at a fancy restaurant. Ready to roll!

The flight itself was pretty smooth. Watched a couple of movies, tried to get some sleep (failed miserably), and before I knew it, we were landing in Dubai. Stepped off the plane and BAM! The heat hit me like a wall. But hey, I was in Dubai!

Checked into my apartment, dumped my bags, and headed straight out. First stop: Dubai Marina. Took a stroll along the waterfront, checked out the yachts, soaked up the atmosphere. Grabbed some lunch at a little cafe overlooking the water.

Next day was Burj Khalifa day. Went up to the observation deck, and man, the views were insane! You could see the whole city sprawling out beneath you. Took a million pictures, obviously. Worth every penny.

The desert safari was a blast. The dune bashing was crazy, the sunset was gorgeous, and the food at the desert camp was surprisingly good. Even rode a camel! That was interesting, to say the least.

Spent a few days exploring the city. Went to the Dubai Mall (massive!), wandered through the souks (bargaining is a must!), and even checked out the Dubai Miracle Garden (flowers everywhere!).

Food-wise, I tried all sorts of stuff. Shawarma, hummus, falafel – the classics. Also had some amazing seafood at a restaurant overlooking the Arabian Gulf. And of course, I had to try some dates. So sweet!

One thing I learned: Dubai is hot. Like, really hot. Drink lots of water, wear sunscreen, and take breaks in the air conditioning. Trust me on this one.

Overall, my trip to Dubai was incredible. It’s a crazy, over-the-top city, but it’s also fascinating and exciting. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique travel experience. Just be prepared for the heat! I started from scratch, planned everything, and actually did it. It was unforgettable.
