So, I heard about this place, El Diablo Moto Shop, from a friend. He was talking about it like it was some kind of biker’s paradise. I thought, “Why not?” I’ve been meaning to check out the motorcycle scene here in LA, so I figured this was as good a place as any to start.

Getting There
I hopped in my car and plugged the address, 5657 York Blvd, into my GPS. It was a bit of a drive, but nothing too crazy. Found the place nestled in Eagle Rock. It’s a pretty unassuming spot, to be honest. If you weren’t looking for it, you might just drive right past.
First Impressions
- The shop had this old-school, gritty vibe, which I dug.
- There were a few bikes parked out front, mostly bobbers and cafe racers, which looked pretty sweet.
- Inside, it was kind of cluttered, but in a way that felt lived-in and authentic.
Talking Shop
I chatted with one of the guys there, seemed to know his stuff. We talked about custom builds, repairs, and the general motorcycle scene in LA. He told me they do all kinds of work on all makes and models. These guys even had 772 likes on their Facebook page which named “El Diablo Moto Cartel” and showed a lot of the custom work. They’re pretty popular. And I read some reviews from their customers before I came here, lots of customers satisfied with their motorcycle maintenance and modifications.

Overall Vibe
El Diablo Moto Shop is definitely not your typical, shiny dealership. It’s got character, that’s for sure. It felt like a place where real bikers hang out, not just weekend warriors. I also found their contact info on Cylex, it’s (323) 369-0….
Would I Go Back?
Yeah, I think I would. It seemed like a solid spot to get work done on your bike, or even just to hang out and talk shop. If you’re into the custom bike scene, or if you’re looking for a place that’s got a bit more soul than your average dealership, El Diablo Moto Shop is worth checking out. Plus, if you are looking for some place to repair your motorcycle, this must be a good place according to so many customer reviews.
I heard some people debating online that El Diablo is a bit overpriced. I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. If you want top-notch custom work, you’re probably gonna pay a bit more. And there seems to be another motorcycle called El Diablo, too. They seem to be quite different, so don’t be confused.

Final Thoughts
My trip to El Diablo Moto Shop was a cool little adventure. It gave me a taste of the local biker scene, and I got to see some pretty cool bikes. It’s definitely a place I’ll keep in mind if I ever need any work done on my future bike, or if I just want to hang out with some fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.
