Man, let me tell you about this crazy adventure I had in Elden Ring’s new DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. I decided to tackle this thing called the “elden ring finger ruins blowing into” and it was a wild ride from start to finish.

So, first thing, I geared up and headed to this place called the Finger Ruins of Rhia. It’s down in the Southern Shore region, pretty easy to find if you know where to look. I followed some advice I found online – “Go under the arch at the west end of the region and follow the path to reach the Finger-Weaver’s Hovel.” Sounded simple enough, right?
Well, it turned out to be part of this massive quest, Count Ymir’s Finger Ruins expedition. This quest is no joke, it’s the longest one in the whole DLC. I started by meeting this Count Ymir guy at the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. He gave me a Ruins Map and a Hole-Laden Necklace, pretty strange items, but I went with it. He told me to head to the Finger Ruins of Rhia and ring some bell there.
I followed his instructions, found the bell, and interacted with it. Boom! I got a Crimson Seed Talisman +1. Score! But that was just the beginning. This map had more locations, and I was determined to see this quest through.
Ruins Map Third Location
The next step was to find the Ruins Map’s third location. I talked to Count Ymir again, exhausted all his dialogue, and then rested at a Site of Grace. When I came back, he was gone from his chair. I interacted with the chair, and it opened up a hidden path under the Cathedral. Turns out, that’s where the Finger Ruins of Miyr are.
Then, it was time to head to the Finger Ruins of Dheo. After I got through the door to Scaduview, I went down some steps and followed the path east. The map was pretty straightforward, so I found my way there without too much trouble.

- Meet Count Ymir: Got the map and necklace.
- Finger Ruins of Rhia: Rang the bell, got the talisman.
- Ruins Map 3rd Location: Found the hidden path under the Cathedral.
- Finger Ruins of Dheo: Followed the path, easy peasy.
This whole quest was a long one, but totally worth it. I got some cool items, explored some awesome areas, and felt like a true adventurer. If you’re playing the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, I definitely recommend giving this quest a shot. Just be prepared for a bit of a journey!
Anyway, that’s my story about tackling the “elden ring finger ruins blowing into”. Hope you enjoyed it, and maybe it helps you out if you decide to go on this adventure yourself. Game on!
