Okay, so today I decided to dig into the 2014 England National Soccer Team. You know, see what all the fuss was about that year. Here’s how I went about it:
Started with the Basics
First, I needed a refresher. I mean, 2014… that’s a while back! So, I started by just searching for “England National Soccer Team 2014”. Simple enough, right?
Figuring Out the Roster
Next up, I really wanted to know who was on the team. It’s all about the players, isn’t it? I searched specifically for the “2014 England World Cup squad”.
- I found some familiar names, and some I’d totally forgotten about!
- It was cool to see who the manager was back then, too. I had totally blanked on that.
Reliving the Matches (Sort Of)
Of course, knowing the players is one thing, but I also wanted to see how they did. So, I went looking for their 2014 World Cup results.
I looked at the group they were in. Ouch. Not the easiest, that’s for sure!
