Okay, so I wanted to figure out the deal with the 2023 Pro V1 and Pro V1x markings. I’d heard some chatter online, so I decided to do my own little investigation. Here’s how it went down:

First, I grabbed a dozen of each – brand spanking new 2023 Pro V1s and Pro V1xs. Gotta have the goods, right?

Next, I lined them up. My eyes aren’t what they used to be, so I used a good, bright light.

  • The Sidestamp: Okay, this was the most obvious thing. The sidestamp, you know, that alignment aid thingy, is definitely different.

The new sidestamp is intergrated with new arrow, looks more mordern than old verion.

  • The Numbers: I checked the play numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.). They look pretty much the same as the old ones, no big changes there, font-wise.
  • The “Pro V1” and “Pro V1x” Logos: I scrutinized these logos really, really closely. Same font.
  • Dimple Pattern: I almost forgot dimple pattern. I am not sure about it. To be honest, I just put the balls to my friend who work in golf club. He told me, “Man, the dimple pattern is surely diffrent!”. I will take his word.

Then, I took some pictures. It is hard to show these detailed things to you. So I decided to give up.

So, that’s my little experiment. It’s not super scientific, but I think it gives a pretty good idea of what to expect with the 2023 Pro V1 markings. If you are looking for obvious things to see, focus on the sidestamp, the others, not that much.
