Okay, so I was digging into the Dallas Cowboys’ cap space situation today, and man, it’s tighter than a drum. Here’s what I found out after checking things over.

First, I jumped onto Over the Cap, which is usually my go-to for this kind of stuff. I wanted a quick number, a snapshot of where things stood.
What I Figured Out
- They’ve got about $2.5 million in available cap space. It means it is not a lot of room to maneuver.
- I checked around, and that puts them at 26th in the league for cap space. Meaning, there are only a few teams with less money to spend than them.
Then I started thinking about the draft. I know they have a bunch of picks, including a pretty high first-rounder (number 12!).
I Spent some more time digging.
They have got 10 picks in total. That’s a good chunk of change, even if most of them are probably later-round picks that won’t cost a ton.
So, basically, I spent my afternoon getting a handle on the Cowboys’ financial situation for 2025, and I found some interesting data!
