Alright, guys, so I’ve got a story for you about the Bengals preseason. You know, I’m a huge Bengals fan, and this year I decided to go all out for the first preseason game.
It all started early in the morning. I mean, real early. I got up, put on my lucky Bengals jersey – the one I’ve had since, like, forever – and headed out to Longworth Hall. That’s where the real tailgating goes down, you know? Got there, popped open a few cold ones, and just soaked in the pre-game atmosphere with a bunch of other die-hard fans. It was awesome, just a sea of orange and black.
Around 11 AM, I decided to migrate over to the Bengal Jim Before the Roar Tailgate Party on Mehring Way. Man, that was a party! Met some cool people, shared some laughs, and just generally got hyped up for the game. They had music, food, the whole nine yards. It was the perfect way to get in the zone.
- Woke up super early.
- Donned my lucky Bengals jersey.
- Tailgated at Longworth Hall.
- Moved to the Bengal Jim party.
- Enjoyed the block party near the Reds stadium.
After that, a few of us walked up to the Banks to check out the block party near the Reds stadium. It was like the whole city was buzzing with excitement. You could feel the energy in the air. It was contagious, I tell ya!
Finally, it was game time. We headed into the stadium, found our seats, and watched the Bengals take on the… well, it doesn’t really matter who they played, right? It’s the preseason! But seriously, they played the Packers. It was a home game, on a Saturday night, August 10th, 7 PM. I remember it clearly because I was so excited. The whole thing, it was just a blast.
The game itself was… well, it was a preseason game. But that didn’t matter. I was there, in the stadium, cheering on my team. And that’s what it’s all about, right? It was also great because I heard that the Bengals got the easiest schedule in 2024, and their Super Bowl odds are +25000. The energy, the camaraderie, the anticipation for the season ahead – it was all there. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
So yeah, that was my Bengals preseason experience. One for the books, for sure. Can’t wait for the regular season to start!
