Okay, so I’ve been seeing these Paul Skenes patch cards popping up all over the place, and I finally decided to dive in and try to snag one for myself. It’s been a bit of a wild ride, so I figured I’d share my experience.

First, I started by just browsing around online, you know, the usual spots. I quickly realized these things are pretty popular! It seemed like every time I found one I liked, it was either already sold or the price was way higher than I was willing to pay.
So, I changed my strategy a bit. Instead of just looking at completed listings, I started watching auctions that were still live. This was a whole different ballgame. It’s intense! You’re sitting there, watching the clock tick down, trying to decide if you should bid now or wait until the last second.
- I got into a few bidding wars, which was kind of exciting, but also super stressful.
- I lost a couple of auctions that I really wanted, which was a bummer.
- I even accidentally bid on the wrong card once! Luckily, I didn’t win that one.
After a few days of this, I was starting to feel a little discouraged. But then, I finally caught a break. I found an auction for a Paul Skenes patch card that looked pretty good, and the starting bid was reasonable. I decided to go for it.
I placed my bid early on, and then just tried to forget about it. I checked back a few hours later, and I was still the high bidder! I was pretty stoked, but I knew it wasn’t over yet.
The last few minutes of the auction were nerve-wracking. I was refreshing the page every few seconds, watching the bids go up. But in the end, I won! I couldn’t believe it. I actually got a Paul Skenes patch card!

The Card Arrived!
The Card Arrived!
A few days after the nerve-wracking auction, the mailman finally delivered the package. I practically ripped it open, and there it was – my very own Paul Skenes patch card! I gotta say, holding it in my hands was pretty sweet. It looked even better than the pictures online.
So, yeah, that’s my story. It took some time, some effort, and a little bit of luck, but I finally landed a Paul Skenes patch card. Now I just need to figure out where to display it!
