Alright, so you wanna hear about my Home Ec final in Pokemon Violet? Buckle up, it was a wild ride.

First off, the assignment was simple: make a sandwich that boosts a specific stat for battling. Easy peasy, right? Wrong. I thought I could just slap some stuff between bread and call it a day. Oh, how naive I was.
I started by hitting up the shops in Mesagoza. Needed ingredients, obviously. Grabbed some bread, lettuce, tomatoes, some Herba Mystica (figured I’d go big or go home), and a few other random bits and bobs. My plan was to make a sandwich that’d pump up my Pokemon’s Attack stat. Seemed straightforward.
Got back to my little picnic table setup, ready to get my chef on. I laid out the bread, piled on the lettuce, then the tomatoes. Looked good so far. Then I got fancy and tried to balance the Herba Mystica on top. That’s when things went south. The whole thing toppled over, sending ingredients flying everywhere. My poor Pawmi was eyeing the fallen tomatoes like it was Christmas.
Cleaned up the mess (mostly), and tried again. This time, I went for a more strategic approach. Layered everything carefully, made sure the Herba Mystica was nestled securely in the middle. It looked… okay. Not exactly professional-chef material, but it held together. I christened it the “Attack Powerhouse” or something equally cheesy.
Then came the taste test. Gave it to my Fuecoco first. He’s usually down for anything. He took one bite, then looked at me with this “seriously?” expression. Not a good sign. I cautiously took a bite myself. It was… an experience. The flavors clashed horribly. Too much of some ingredients, not enough of others. It was like a culinary train wreck.

Okay, back to the drawing board. I decided to consult the internet. Looked up some sandwich recipes that were specifically designed for stat boosts. Turns out, there’s a whole science to this stuff. Specific combinations of ingredients give specific effects. Who knew?
Armed with newfound knowledge, I went back to the shops, bought some different ingredients – pickles, peanut butter, some weird jam I’d never seen before. This time, I followed the recipe to the letter. Layered everything exactly as instructed. The result? A sandwich that actually looked and smelled appetizing.
Gave it to Fuecoco again. This time, his eyes lit up. He devoured it in seconds. I took a bite. Eureka! It was actually good! And, more importantly, it gave a significant Attack boost to my Pokemon. Success!
For the presentation, I arranged the sandwich artfully on a plate, garnished it with a sprig of mint (because why not?), and took a photo. Sent it in as my final submission. Got a decent grade, learned a lot about sandwich-making, and even leveled up my Pokemon’s battling skills. All in all, a pretty good day in the life of a Pokemon trainer. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go make myself another sandwich… maybe this time, I’ll skip the Herba Mystica.
