How I Started Looking for My Facebook Page Likes
Okay, so the other day, I realized I had absolutely no clue how many people liked my Facebook page lately. Felt like flying blind, you know? I knew I posted stuff, people sometimes commented, but those page likes? Total mystery. Figured it couldn’t be that hard to find, right? Famous last words.
First thing I did, obviously, was go straight to my actual Facebook page. Logged in, saw my profile picture smiling back at me. I looked at the top, near the cover photo. Spotted the “Home” button, “About”, some other tabs… but nothing screaming “See Your Likes Here!”
Slightly annoyed already. I know the number sometimes shows up under the page name, right? But I wanted details! Like, who liked it recently? Did I lose any? When?
Time to dig deeper. I clicked on my profile picture again to go to the main page view. Scanned the row of buttons below the cover photo: “Posts”, “Reels”, “Events”… scrolled along… ah, “More”. Clicked that bad boy. Dropped down a list. “Groups”, “Fundraisers”, nah… “Ad Center”? Nope. Where is it?!
Felt like searching for buried treasure. Clicked on “See All” in that “More” menu. A whole load of options popped up. “Professional Dashboard”? That sounded promising, kinda business-like. Gave it a click.
The Lightbulb Moment with Business Suite
This opened up Facebook Business Suite. Okay, getting warmer. It looked busier. Lots of numbers and graphs. I saw “Insights” over on the left-hand menu. Seemed relevant! Clicked “Insights”.
A new dashboard loaded. Columns and metrics everywhere:
- Reach
- Engagement
- Page Followers
- Content
- Audience
“Page Followers”? That sounded super close! But wait, I thought they were called “Likes”? Got a little confused. Facebook mixes these terms, drives me nuts. Anyway, hovered over “Page Followers”… description mentioned “new followers and unfollows”. Bingo! Clicked it.
And there it was! Finally! Like striking gold after shoveling dirt for an hour.
Seeing What I Actually Wanted
Clicked “Page Followers” and landed on a chart. It showed the number over time – going up (nice!), sometimes down (ugh!). Right below the chart, super important:
- Total Page Followers: The big current number.
- Net New Followers: How many I gained (or lost) in the chosen date range.
- New Followers: Exactly how many new people hit “like”.
- Unfollows: How many people bailed. Always a little sad to see.
Scrolling down further, I could even see recent follower activity – sometimes names pop up there for recent likes, depending on settings. Mostly it’s just the counts though.
So the easiest way? Stop messing around on the main page view. Forget scrolling useless menus. Head straight to Facebook Business Suite (click your profile pic > See All > Professional Dashboard gets you there fast), hit “Insights” on the left, then immediately click “Page Followers”. Done.
Took me way too long clicking around like a headless chicken. Wish I’d known to just go straight to Insights in Business Suite. Saves so much hassle! There it is, plain as day: exactly who liked (or followed) your page, when, and if anyone dipped out.
