Man I gotta tell ya, Instagram limiting carousels to ten pics drives me nuts. Especially when I took twenty killer shots of my coffee art yesterday. So I Googled “how to post 20 pictures on IG” like a man possessed. Found some “super easy” methods – yeah right.

The Epic Fail Phase
First I downloaded some random collage app they recommended. Spent thirty minutes arranging tiny thumbnails like a puzzle. Looked like a pixelated nightmare. Instagram actually rejected the upload twice. Deleted that garbage app immediately.
Next attempt: screenshotting my whole camera roll. Scrolled forever trying to fit twenty vertical shots in one screenshot. Ended up cropping for another hour. Uploaded it praying… and got this sad little post showing one fuzzy long image. Zero engagement. Felt like crying into my cold coffee.
When All Hope Was Lost
At this point I was ready to chuck my phone. But wait! Some forum guy mentioned creating two ten-photo carousels back-to-back. Sounded dumb but hey – desperation time.
- Selected my first ten coffee masterpieces slowly
- Dropped them into a carousel with sweaty fingers
- Posted it super fast before IG changed its mind
- Went straight to my profile after posting
Then the magic part:
- Clicked “new post” AGAIN right under the first carousel
- Chose the next ten photos shaking like a leaf
- Didn’t even breathe while uploading
And holy beans – there they were! Two carousels sitting snug in my feed. Twenty glorious coffee shots. Took me eight hours of rage to find this stupidly simple trick. Sometimes the solution is literally hitting buttons twice.
Just don’t ask me about video carousels – that garbage still makes me see red. Instagram needs to fix this crap already.
