Well, let me tell you, I heard all the young’uns talkin’ ’bout this Dragon Cheer thing in that Pokemon game. Sounds like a real hoot, this Dragon Cheer. They say it makes them Pokemon fellas stronger. So, I thought I’d try to figure it out, for all you folks out there who might be just as confused as me.

Beatin’ that Drayton Fella
Now, first thing’s first, you gotta find this Drayton fella. He’s part of somethin’ called the BB League Elite Four, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Seems like you gotta beat him in a Pokemon battle to get this Dragon Cheer thing. It’s somethin’ called a TM 226. Sounds like some kinda secret code. These young folks and their codes, I tell ya.
So, you gotta get yourself enrolled in this BB League thing, then find Drayton. They say he uses them Dragon-type Pokemon, so you better get yourself some strong Pokemon to fight him with. I heard Ice-types are good, but you know what they say. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
That Dragon Cheer TM
Once you beat that Drayton, he’ll give ya that Dragon Cheer TM. Then you can use it on one of your Pokemon. I heard there’s a Pokemon called Dipplin, but he can’t learn Dragon Cheer by himself, the poor thing. He needs that TM to learn it.
Then, I hear there’s another one called Hydrapple. That’s the one Dipplin turns into, I guess. Like them Caterpies turnin’ into Butterfrees. You need that Dragon Cheer TM if you want a Hydrapple. Kids these days, gotta catch ’em all, gotta evolve ’em all. Back in my day, we were happy with just a Pidgey and a Rattata.
What That Dragon Cheer Does
Now, this Dragon Cheer, it ain’t just for show. It makes your Pokemon hit harder, they say. Somethin’ ’bout “critical hits.” Sounds painful, don’t it? But I guess that’s good in a Pokemon battle. You want your Pokemon to be strong and knock out the other fella’s Pokemon.

- Makes them Pokemon hit harder. That’s what they all say.
- Somethin’ about a critical hit ratio. Don’t ask me what that means.
- You use it on your Pokemon, and they get stronger. Simple as that.
Some Other Stuff I Heard
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout a glitch or somethin’. Sayin’ that Dragon Cheer sticks around even if you switch your Pokemon. I don’t know ’bout all that. Sounds like cheatin’ to me. But then again, I don’t understand half the things these young’uns talk about these days.
And then there’s this thing called a Scope Lens. I guess it helps with them critical hits too. Sounds like a lot of work just to win a Pokemon battle. Back in my day, we just threw our Pokeballs and hoped for the best. That Scope Lens, critical hit, these kids have it easy these days.
There’s another fella, Larry, who’s a Gym Leader somewhere, you need to find him if you want to get Dragon Cheer. He’s in Area Zero, whatever that is. Sounds like some kinda secret place. I also heard you need to defeat Team Star. Gosh, these kids and their drama.
Just Beat Drayton, I Reckon
Look, all this talk is makin’ my head spin. From what I can gather, the easiest way to get this Dragon Cheer thing is to just find that Drayton fella and beat him in a Pokemon battle. He’ll give you that TM 226, and then you can use it on your Pokemon.
And if you want that Hydrapple, you gotta use it on Dipplin. I think. Don’t quote me on that. I’m just an old lady tryin’ to make sense of all this Pokemon stuff. It’s all so complicated. I still don’t know what BB League is. Maybe it’s a baseball team.

Anyways, I hope this helps you folks out there who are tryin’ to get that Dragon Cheer. Just remember, beat Drayton, get the TM, and use it on your Pokemon. That’s all there is to it, I reckon. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go yell at some kids to get off my lawn. And maybe catch a Pidgey while I’m at it.
