Alternative Method: Zombies
Now, I did hear there was another way to unlock the crossbow—through Zombies mode. I didn’t go this route, but I heard you need to find the crossbow in the game and then successfully extract with it. I can’t give you all the steps, but if that’s more your style, sounds like it could be fun.
After grinding those longshot kills and finally getting that 50th one, the crossbow unlocked. I was so stoked to use it, and it feels good in a marksman rifle class. It hits hard, and it’s a nice change of pace from the usual weapons.
