Okay, so I wanted to get into this “creator codes” thing in Clash Royale. I’d seen some YouTubers talking about it, and it sounded like a cool way to support them while playing a game I already enjoy. Figured I’d give it a shot and document the whole process, just in case anyone else is as clueless as I was at the start.

Finding a Creator Code

First things first, I needed a code. I watch a few Clash Royale YouTubers regularly, so I hopped onto a couple of their recent videos. Most of them had their creator code displayed somewhere on screen or mentioned it in the description. Easy enough! I grabbed one that I recognized and liked.I made a note of this code, writing in down on a sticky note.

Entering the Code in Clash Royale

Next, I opened up the Clash Royale app on my phone. Now, I had no idea where to actually enter this code. I tapped around the different menus for a bit – Shop, Cards, Battle… nothing seemed obvious.

After a few minutes of aimless poking, I finally found it. It’s kind of hidden away, to be honest. Here’s the path I took:

  • I went to the Shop tab (the one that looks like a treasure chest).
  • Then, I scrolled all the way to the right, past all the offers and chests.
  • Finally, at the very end, there it was! A little box that says “Creator Boost” and a button to “Enter Code.”

I tapped that “Enter Code” button and a little pop-up window appeared. I carefully typed in the creator code I had, making sure I got all the letters and numbers right(I had a bad experience of typing in the wrong code!). I double-checked it, then hit the “Confirm” button.

Activation and Confirmation

Boom! A message popped up saying the creator code was activated. It also said that a small percentage of any gems I spend will now go to supporting that creator. Pretty cool!

I wanted to confirm this action.I went back to that same “Creator Boost” section in the Shop, and sure enough, it now showed the creator’s name and said “Active.” There was also an option to deactivate it, but I left it on, obviously.

So, that’s it! It’s actually a pretty simple process once you know where to look. I spent some gems from an offer I bought,I’m happy to be supporting a creator whose content I enjoy, and it didn’t cost me anything extra. If you’re playing Clash Royale and watch some of the creators, I’d definitely recommend doing this. It’s a small thing, but it’s a nice way to give back.
