Okay, so yesterday I decided to dive into the San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies game. I’m not a huge baseball fanatic, but I enjoy watching a good game now and then, and I figured this would be a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed my trusty notebook and pen. I’m old-school like that. I prefer to jot down notes and observations by hand. Feels more… authentic, you know?
Tracking the Action
I started by noting the starting lineups for both teams. Who was pitching, who was batting where – the basics. Then, as the game progressed, I kept track of key plays: hits, runs, errors, and any particularly impressive (or not-so-impressive) moments. I also try to be aware of players substitution.
- Big hits: Who knocked it out of the park? Who got a crucial double or triple?
- Key outs: Amazing catches? Strikeouts that got the crowd roaring?
- Runs scored: How did each team rack up their points? Was it a slow burn or a sudden explosion?
- Standout players: Anyone having a particularly good (or bad) day?
I scribbled down everything that caught my eye. Sometimes it was a strategic move by a manager, sometimes it was just a player’s raw athleticism. I tried not to over think it, Just write down whatever felt important at that time.
The Final Result
It was a good match-up. I enjoyed watching it, and jotting down the details made me feel more engaged with the game. It’s kinda cool to look back at my notes now and replay the whole thing in my head.
