Hey everyone, it’s your boy back with another blog post. Today, I want to talk about what I did last night. It was a Wednesday, and you know what that means – game night! This time, it was the Iowa State Cyclones versus the Kansas State Wildcats in women’s basketball. Let me tell you, it was a pretty big deal, a real nail-biter.
So, first things first, I checked who was playing. It was Iowa State taking on Kansas State.
- I found out that the game was at Hilton Coliseum, which is in Ames, Iowa. Pretty cool, huh?
- I saw that Kansas State was ranked number 7, so I knew this was going to be a tough one for Iowa State.
I got myself ready, grabbed some snacks, and turned on the TV. I started searching for the game, trying to find where it was being broadcast.
Then, I started looking at the stats and the odds. It seemed like Iowa State was favored by just 1.5 points, and the over/under was 51.5 points. I thought to myself, “This is going to be a close one!”
During the game, I kept an eye on the live score updates. It was back and forth, and I was really into it! Cheering, yelling at the TV, you know, the usual.
I also looked into some fun facts during halftime. Turns out, Kansas State was close to breaking a record for blocked shots. They only needed 12 more! That’s wild, right?
Reflecting on it, I recalled how Iowa State had just come off a win against the Utah Utes. I remember thinking they were on a roll, and I was pretty hyped to see how they’d do against a top-ranked team like Kansas State.
What a night!
