Okay, so yesterday, I wanted to take a closer look at this horse called Tapit Trice. I’d heard a bunch about him, so I decided to dig in and see what’s what. Let me tell you how it went.
First, I got on the computer and started looking up some basic info. Turns out, Tapit Trice is a pretty big deal. He’s got some good blood in him, being the son of this famous horse, Tapit. They say Tapit is a big shot in the horse world, the best in North America for making money and winning big races.
So, I kept reading, and this Tapit Trice is no slouch either. He was born at this place called Gainesway, and his mom is Danzatrice, who’s got her own wins, and she’s related to a champion filly named Jaywalk. This horse was sold for over a million bucks! Can you believe that? To Whisper Hill Farm, it was.
Then I got into the races he’s been in. He won this big race called the Blue Grass Stakes in 2023. That win got him a top speed figure of 103, which, from what I gather, is pretty darn good. He’s been getting better and better, starting from an 84 in his first race.
Next, I found out he’s one of the horses they call “Grade 1” winners. He’s in good company too, with others like Charge It and Seize the Grey. I guess those are some big names in the horse world.
I stumbled upon a report from the Lexington Herald-Leader. Seems like they know a thing or two about horses over there. I read through it, trying to pick up whatever I could. This is a whole different world, but it’s kinda fascinating.
