Okay, so let’s talk about Johnny Swinger, yeah, the wrestler from TNA. I gotta say, I was pretty stoked to see him back in the ring on the last IMPACT episode. I mean, the guy’s been around forever, right? They call him Johnny Paradise, Johnny Parisi, and a bunch of other names too. It’s like, pick a name, dude! But hey, I’m not complaining.
So, I tuned in to watch the show, and there he was. I was actually watching Impact Wrestling Before the Impact #131, Taping on Jul 28th, 2023, I think. He’s up against Sheldon Jean. And I gotta tell you, it was a pretty good match. I mean, it wasn’t the main event or anything, but it was entertaining.
Now, I’m not the biggest wrestling expert, but I know what I like. And I like Johnny Swinger. He’s got this old-school vibe that I really dig. Plus, he’s got some moves, you know? He might not be the youngest guy out there, but he can still go.
In the match, Swinger just took control. He’s throwing punches, hitting some slams, and the crowd is loving it. Sheldon Jean, he tried, I’ll give him that. But Swinger was just too much. He hit his finisher, whatever it’s called, and boom! One, two, three, it’s over. Swinger wins! I was cheering like a madman, I’m not gonna lie.
But then, you know what I did? I hopped onto the internet, like everyone else, to see what people were saying about it. And you know what I found? A whole bunch of information about Johnny Swinger! Like, this guy has been in the wrestling business for a long time. Turns out, it wasn’t even the main show, but something called Impact Wrestling Impact #989. I didn’t even know there were that many shows!
- I started looking up his other matches, his history, all that stuff.
- I even found out he’s got a bunch of different nicknames! It’s crazy.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my excitement about seeing Johnny Swinger back in action. It brought back some good memories, you know? I’ll definitely be tuning in to see what he does next. Who knows, maybe he’ll even go for a title or something. That would be awesome!
Watching Johnny Swinger
I sat down on my couch, grabbed a bag of chips, and turned on the TV. It was almost time for the show to start. I was flipping through the channels, and there it was, IMPACT Wrestling. I settled in and waited for the action to begin.
The Match Begins
The bell rang, and the match was on. Swinger and his opponent, some guy I didn’t recognize, started circling each other. They locked up, and Swinger quickly took control. He was throwing punches, kicks, and even a few slams. The crowd was going wild, and I was loving every minute of it.

The other guy tried to fight back, but Swinger was just too strong. He kept up the pressure, hitting move after move. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering what he would do next. He’s not just strong, but he’s got this way of moving in the ring that’s just mesmerizing. I found myself holding my breath during some of the more intense moments, hoping he wouldn’t get hurt.
The Finish
Then, it happened. Swinger hit his finishing move, a devastating maneuver that left his opponent dazed and confused. The referee started counting, one, two, three! It was over. Swinger had won the match. I jumped up from my couch, cheering and clapping. It was an amazing performance, and I was so glad I had tuned in to watch it.
