Okay, so today I decided to tackle the “Kamaea Wave” thing. I’d seen some stuff about it online and it sounded pretty interesting. I figured, why not give it a shot? So here’s how it went down.

First, I spent some time looking up what this “Kamaea Wave” actually was. I found some online courses and stuff, mostly about investing and finance. Seemed kinda unrelated at first, but I thought maybe there was a connection I was missing. I mean, who knows, right? So, I dug a little deeper. I needed a good starting point.

Then I found this weird forum post talking about making a walking stick super powerful and durable, also mention something about “achieving immortality”. What? Sounded like some fantasy game stuff, not sure. Also, found it was related to some kind of “family first” concept. The information was all over the place, felt a bit confused.

After that, I tried to get my hands dirty. I started by, uh, well, trying to make a walking stick. Just a regular one, nothing fancy. I grabbed a branch from my backyard, which was not hard, and started whittling away at it with my old pocket knife. It was kind of fun, actually. Took me back to my childhood days. Though I wasn’t sure what was I doing and where would I go with this.

Next, I thought maybe I should try to make this walking stick “powerful and durable,” like that post said. I remembered my grandpa used to do some woodwork, so I found his old tools in the garage. I sanded the stick down, making it smooth, and then I applied some varnish I found. It looked pretty good, to be honest. Still, not quite “powerful” though. As a stick, it felt sturdy, and that was it. I need something more.

Experimenting with the “Immortality” Part

  • I tried to think about how I could make this relate to “immortality.” I mean, that’s a pretty big concept. I thought maybe it had something to do with legacy or leaving something behind. Like, I make this walking stick, and it lasts for a long time, maybe gets passed down through generations or something?
  • I even wrote my initials on the stick with a marker, thinking maybe that would make it more personal. So, at this time, I had a polished stick with my initials on it. But it still seemed like a long shot from immortality.

The “Family First” Connection

The “family first” thing was the most confusing part. I thought maybe it had something to do with family history or something. So, I started looking into my own family tree, just for kicks. I found some old photos and documents, and it was actually pretty interesting to see where my ancestors came from. I even found a picture of my great-great-grandfather holding a walking stick! Maybe it was a sign? No idea. Still, I was lost.

But honestly, I have no idea if any of this is related to the “Kamaea Wave.” I feel like I’m just grasping at straws here. I mean, I learned a bit about investing and finance, made a decent walking stick, and explored my family history. But, all in all, it was a fun day of trying new things. Maybe the real “Kamaea Wave” is the friends we made along the way? Haha, just kidding. But seriously, it was an interesting experience, even if I didn’t quite figure it all out. Maybe next time, I can try again. I will give some thought to it. See what I can find. To be continued.
