Okay, so I’ve been getting into this whole wrestling thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. I stumbled upon this wrestler, La Catalina, and I thought, “Why not try to get into that kind of shape?” So here’s how my journey went down.

La Catalina Wrestler: How to Train Like a Pro and Get Noticed By the Best

First off, I started digging around to figure out who this La Catalina even was. Turns out, she’s this Chilean wrestler, real name Catalina Aurora Garca Corrial. She even did some time in WWE as Katrina Cortez. Man, she was only 18 when she signed! Pretty cool, right? I learned that before WWE, she trained at some RLL Wrestling Academy and that after her WWE stint, she went off to Mexico to wrestle. Oh, and she’s married to another wrestler, El Elemental. They must have some interesting dinner conversations, huh?

Next, I had to figure out how these wrestlers train. I mean, they’re ripped! I read somewhere that they work out like five or six days a week. Sixty crunches at the end of every session? I nearly died just thinking about it. But hey, I wanted that wrestler bod, so I dove in.

  • Started with the basics: Front rolls, back rolls, all that jazz. Felt like a kid again, tumbling around. I gotta say, it was kinda fun.
  • Hit the gym: I started with some basic weight training and cardio. Nothing too crazy, just enough to get my body moving.
  • Ab workouts: These were killer. I tried doing those sixty crunches. It was a great challenge. But, it’s all about that core strength, they say.
  • Watched the pros: I started watching La Catalina’s matches, trying to pick up on her moves, her style. Also, checked out some other wrestlers to get a feel for different techniques.
  • Practiced, practiced, practiced: I found a local wrestling school – yeah, they exist! – and started taking classes. The coach was a real stickler for form, but it was all worth it. Repetition is key, he said.

I learned that getting into wrestler shape is not only about the workout, but you need a lot of time to keep practicing. I mean, it’s not just about lifting weights and doing cardio, right? You gotta learn the moves, the holds, the whole shebang. And let me tell you, it’s tough. But man, is it rewarding. Every time I nailed a move, I felt like a total badass.

My Diet:

  • Breakfast was usually oatmeal with fruit and a protein shake.
  • Lunch consisted of grilled chicken or fish with brown rice and veggies.
  • Dinner was similar to lunch, maybe with some sweet potato thrown in.
  • Snacks were nuts, yogurt, or protein bars.

I had to watch what I ate, too. I tried to eat clean, you know? Lots of protein, good carbs, that sort of thing. It was tough to give up my usual junk food diet, but I knew it had to be done if I wanted to see results.

So, yeah, that’s my journey into trying to get into La Catalina shape. It’s been a grind, but a good one. I’m not saying I’m ready to jump into the ring anytime soon, but I definitely feel stronger, fitter, and more confident. And hey, who knows, maybe one day I’ll be the one inspiring someone else to get into wrestling shape. It’s all about setting goals and smashing them, right?
